Rebecca is interested in socially engaged approaches to theatre and performance, such as community and applied theatre practices. They are also occupied with queer and subcultural performances practices, such as drag performance, cabaret and performance poetry. As a performance poet, Rebecca explores sexuality and gender identity through critical reflection on the arts, academia and archival materials. Alongside their undergraduate training in collaborative devising, playwriting, and solo performance, Rebecca participated in Roundhouse Young Creatives Making Theatre from Real Life and Protest Poetry projects. They later participated in the Live Art Development Agency DIY Art & the Self: What did Narcissus See? They have performed at the Lyric Hammersmith, the Roundhouse Theatre, the Museum of Cambridge, TEDx and Sofar Sounds.

Rebecca is a founding member of the community arts and activism collective, London Queer Writers. The collective supports established and emerging artists and facilitators through inclusive workshops and events. London Queer Writers also produce the LGBTQIA+ performance poetry and spoken word event SPEAK EQUAL which has featured performances from Paula Varjack, Fay Roberts, and Lisa Luxx, amongst others.
